What is Scratch?
Scratch is a FREE online program developed by MIT Media Lab and used by millions of users online so that kids as young as 5 years, can build projects, simple or very complex. Scratch has an intuitive drag-and-drop interface where the users choose blocks of instructions to perform tasks.
Why should your child learn Scratch?
As the digital world is merging more into the physical world, there is a greater need to educate kids about the new and upcoming technologies. Scratch is at the forefront of these tools which help kids gain much-needed knowledge about ‘Computational Thinking’, ‘Digital Fluency’, ‘Creative Computing’ and even ‘Robotics’. Along with that, it provides an amazing platform for the basic understanding of Coding.
