STAAR Kahoot is an online contest providing an exciting opportunity to the students of Grades 3 to 6 to check their test readiness in both Reading and Math courses of the STAAR test. The contest will be held on Kahoot, a fun and interactive platform that allows you to compete with other students and put your knowledge to the test.

STAAR KAHOOT DETAILS

  1. STAAR Kahoot will happen in 2 parts:
    • STAAR Reading Kahoot
    • STAAR Math Kahoot
    It is designed for the students of Grades 3 to 6. Grade levels for participation are determined by current School Grade.
  2. STAAR Kahoot contest will be held for 4 categories: Grades 3, Grades 4, Grades 5 and Grades 6.
  3. Students and parents are expected to provide correct school details during the time of registration so that they can be placed in age-appropriate groups.
  4. This contest is meant only for students from Grades 3 to 6 residing in the United States.
  5. STAAR Kahoot is a virtual contest that will take place entirely online.
  6. All entries for the contest STAAR Kahoot - Reading will end by March 30, 2023, and for the contest STAAR Kahoot - Math will end by April 20, 2023
  7. The STAAR Kahoot - Reading date will be held in 4 categories on the following dates as follows:
    • Grades 3: April 1, 2023 (11:00 AM Central Time)
    • Grades 4: April 1, 2023 (12:30 PM Central Time)
    • Grades 5: April 2, 2023 (11:00 AM Central Time)
    • Grades 6: April 2, 2023 (12:30 PM Central Time)
  8. The STAAR Kahoot - Math date will be held in 4 categories on the following dates as follows:
    • Grades 3: April 22, 2023 (11:00 AM Central Time)
    • Grades 4: April 22, 2023 (12:30 PM Central Time)
    • Grades 5: April 23, 2023 (11:00 AM Central Time)
    • Grades 6: April 23, 2023 (12:30 PM Central Time)
  9. Winners will be announced on the day of the contest.
  10. This is a Kahoot challenge, so students will earn points based on speed and accuracy for every question
  11. Awards & Scholarships for the STAAR Reading Kahoot:
    • 1st Place Winner will be awarded a $75 Amazon Gift Coupon + Winner Certificate + 100% Scholarship to a 12 weeks subscription to any one of our program.
    • 2nd Place Winner will get a Winner Certificate + 80% Scholarship to a 12 weeks subscription to any one of our program.
    • 3rd Place Winner will get a Winner Certificate + 50% Scholarship to a 12 weeks subscription to any one of our program.
    • Featured blog interviews and digital press release about the 3 winners per category
    • Participation certificates for all contestants.
  1. Awards & Scholarships for the STAAR Math Kahoot:

  2. Kindly note the following points related to Awards & Scholarships:
    • The awards & scholarships have to be availed within a maximum of 15 days of the event.
    • The scholarships are applicable for new subscriptions only and not for any renewals.
    • If a student has already won more than 2 Awards & Scholarships in the last 2 years, they are not eligible for scholarship even if they win the contest.
  3. This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT.
  4. Students must confirm their identity upon winning. In case students are not able to confirm their identity, they will not be eligible for the awards & scholarships.
  5. Following the competition, winners will be interviewed by our PR team and we admit the rights to publish the interviews across various channels associated with us.
  6. Students will receive unique IDs on SMS and email as soon as students register for the contest. The mail/SMS must be kept with care, as it will be used as a user ID for the contest.
  7. In case you do not see any communication post-registration, please check your email spam folders.
  8. Participants are requested to subscribe to our mailing list to ensure they do not miss any preparatory material for STAAR Kahoot
  9. In case you have registered for more than one child, you will receive separate unique IDs for each of them.
  10. This is a private contest, and we possess every right to disenroll an entry if our team finds it inappropriate.
