Placement Test Instructions
Congratulations on taking the first step in accelerating your child. Please find below the details for taking the multi award winning MobyMax Adaptive placement test.
You should have received an email with student credentials to login to the platform. Once logged into “Student” tab,
- Click on Library icon
- For Math Placement Test, click on the K-8 Math icon
- For English Placement Test, click on the Language icon
- The tests will start with very basic questions and progressively become harder
- If the student does not know the answer to a question, he/she should answer whatever looks right
- Test will automatically end as the placement level of student reaches based on the answers given
How to check Result
You can view the results immediately. Just logout of Mobymax and log back in using the same credentials but this time as a Parent. You will see a dashboard like below. Click on the respective subjects to see their results.
- In the above scenario, Mobymax says the level is 7.7 which means, the student is good until 70% of 7th Grade. However you can see there are many skill gaps in Grade 6 and 7.
- Ideally we recommend taking the same public school grade level classes with us
- However, if the student is significantly accelerated, meaning a Grade 5 student got a score of 7.5 or above, then we recommend placing him/her in one grade higher.
