FAQs
The vision is to create a coding program for the student, to ensure that they
explore all the vital technologies of the market and make an effective decision
to pursue the specific selected technology. Along with that, after learning skills
like Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Website Development, Python,
JavaScript and many more, the student would certainly feel more confident to pursue
these technologies in High School or College. The final goal of the program is to
create future technology leaders and enhance the necessary skills for creating
tomorrow’s Technology Entrepreneurs.
Module M0 is the program to ensure that students are aware of all core concepts
of Computer Science Technology. It contains topics like: Introduction to flow Chart,
Binary to Decimal Conversion, Storage of Computer (KB, MB, GB etc.), introduction to
Software/Hardware, Networking, and Digital Circuit Designing.
Every Coding teacher in 98thPercentile goes through rigorous training of 3 months,
and internal assessment of the core technology, before taking any class with the student.
Along with that, every coding class is recorded for Quality Assurance and weekly trainings
also ensure the excellent uniform standard of quality of teaching in the class.
Vision of Coding program:
Provide required skills to Future Technology Leaders.
Help in nurturing curiosity and strong conceptual base for students.
Use real life examples to teach prominent computer science topics.
Increase confidence of Students in taking core computer science as a subject in High School/College.
By 2030, approximately 40% of all high paying jobs would consider coding and technological
skills necessary. Our intention is to provide an introduction of the vital and necessary technology
to kids in an interesting and efficient manner to make them curious for the magical and promising
world of coding and technology.
You can simply enrol for free trial classes, and after registration you can join regular batches as well.
All our curriculums are created by teaching experts, all the lessons of the program are
in efficient mapping with the complexity and the standards of coding standards necessary
for the corresponding grade. We have extensively used core concepts of pedagogy,
activity-based learning, and storyboards in making the class an overall joyful and learning
experience for the kids.
At 98thPercentile, our vision is to offer a live, online, differentiated, acceleration
program for K to 12 students in Math, English (Reading & Writing), and Coding through
MULTI-AWARD-WINNING curriculum and platforms, at an unbeatable cost that is up to 4
times cheaper compared to many other programs as a managed service. Our teaching
methodology is non-repetitive and aims to challenge students by introducing new
concepts and skills each week. Our comprehensive program is one of a kind. We are
the one of the best learning centres to provide instruction in Math, English, and
Coding all under one roof.
A laptop/desktop (with a webcam), a notepad (to make notes) and an internet connection are all that
is needed to join online classes.
Our Coding program philosophy is NOT to make students experts at one or more Programming
Languages. It is ALL about EXPOSURE. Guided by real Entrepreneurs and Tech veterans from
companies like Microsoft, it is a combination of building Technical and Leadership skills.
Our coding program has multiple modules for all grade levels; each module has multiple
activities/projects with a final capstone project that combines everything students have
learnt during the module.
Please note the following unique features of our program.
• Our Coding program hosts 2 classes per week.
• It is a Recurring Subscription program.
• The program is modular, meaning, depending on which class you are trying/enrolling,
it could be teaching any one of the modules listed on the detailed curriculum for that grade level.
Yes, students get certificates by 98thPercentile after successful completion of Modules.
Math skills are necessary when learning to code. This doesn’t mean that students
need to be math geniuses to learn computer programming. It just means that as they
learn to code, they will pick up the skills needed to solve math problems along
the way which in turn then helps them to improve their math skills.
The major reason why programming is considered difficult to learn is
primarily due to the complexity of the instructions that computers comprehend.
You can’t give computers instructions in English or any other human language.
Computer programmers have to learn different computer languages, depending on
the type of project they’re working on. In general C++ is said to be the most
difficult language
Coding is a fun and entertaining activity for kids. Coding is like magic and kids are
thrilled to know how computers, games, and websites work. Ultimately, coding helps
to strengthen problem-solving skills, which kids can also use to overcome their future problems.
Coding requires solving real problems, not doing a worksheet full of math equations,
so that students gain real experience. Learning through having fun is the best way to learn coding.
Coding is, at its base, a creative process where you make something from scratch.
Creating something from zero forces kids to use their imagination, ability,
and skills all together at the same time, which leads to improvement in creativity.
There are many platforms available to create projects. And our expert teachers at
98thPercentile can help you achieve this in a systematic way.
