What is TED-Ed Student Talks?

The TED-Ed Student Talks program supports groups of students developing TED-style talks in over 100 countries.


Every day, educators are incorporating TED-Ed Student Talks into existing curricula, programs, and extracurricular activities and educators report an increase in students' confidence skills and ability to develop their original ideas, as well as the development of students’ speaking, perspective-taking, empathy, cultural and global awareness skills.


Students are then invited, but not required, to share their Talk with the world by uploading it to the TED-Ed Student Talks YouTube Channel. To date, the TED team has amplified thousands of student talks.

Points to remember

  1. This masterclass is meant for students of grades 3 to 8 residing in the United States.
  2. Students and parents are expected to provide the correct age, grade, and school details during the time of registration.
  3. TED class will be held on July 20 & 21, 2024. Registrations will close on July 18, 2024.
  4. Students are recommended to have their Web Camera turned on at all times during the class.
  5. Participation certificates will be given to all the participants.
  6. Please ensure a proper internet connection as the class will be live.
  7. In case you do not see any communication post-registration, please check your email spam folders.
  8. Participants are requested to subscribe to our mailing list to ensure they do not miss any important communication from 98thPercentile.
  9. We possess every right to disenroll an entry if our team finds it inappropriate.
