Turtle is an inbuilt module in python. It provides drawing using a screen (cardboard) and turtle (pen). To draw something on the screen, we need to move the turtle. To move turtle, there are some functions i.e forward(), backward(), etc. In this project, students use various core coding concepts learned in the program such as variables, conditional statements, loops. It enhances their logical, analytical and imaginative skills.
Download CurriculumClay Shooting is an interactive game in which the player has to aim at flying clays using a crosshair. The clays fly in random directions and the player has just few seconds to shoot it. The clay breaks into fragments when it is shot and the score increases. In this project, students use various core coding concepts learnt in the program such as variables, conditional statements, loops, events etc. It enhances their logical, analytical and imaginative skills while at the same time being engaging and fun.
Download CurriculumThis is the final project where students create a blog to share their experiences and stories with their friends and family as well as the entire world. Students create their own travel blog where they can post pictures and videos of the places they have travelled to and write about their journeys and experiences. In this project, students showcase their various website designing skills using images, videos, strips, boxes, menu, different pages along with other skills. Plus, they incorporate their writing skills as a bonus!
Download CurriculumThe Mario project is based on the famous Super Mario Bros game from the 1980s. The ‘Mario’ sprite has to dodge the enemies and collect gifts and coins on its way to the castle. It is a large and interactive project where students build multiple pieces of the games – various sprites like owl, duck, gifts, pipes, scene and more, and combine them together. Students use various coding concepts like conditional statements, loops, variables, events and broadcast to build this complex game which enhances their logical, analytical and imaginative skills, as well as practicing perseverance. They can also share this game with others to play and showcase their skills.
Download CurriculumKids are always excited about the celebration of their birthday and they usually love to wish their friends. In this module of Animation, our final project would be “wishing happy birthday” through an animated video. This project covers various aspects of animated videos such as creating a storyboard, planning and creating scenes based on the storyboard, adding text, images, videos, characters in an animation video, and editing each element. Students will get to know how to add music and voice effects to the characters. Overall, this project will give them a clear idea about the animation video production and its publication.
Download CurriculumIn this project, we use the JavaScript program to generate a random word, and the objective of the user is to set hangman free. Wrong guesses about the characters of the randomly generated word will not set hangman free. Every user has 7 chances to guess the character, then after that, the game will be over. Students use various interesting topics of JS like Functions, Strings, Conditional Statements, Loops, and arrays in creating the Hangman Game. We will make this game in a Node.js environment.
Download CurriculumThis Excel-based project will take students one step closer to the concepts of real-time business calculations. They will get to know various terms and their explanations as well as hands-on implementation in Excel like profit, loss, revenue, discount, cost etc. This project will help students to understand how to plan a very small business (buy-sell type).
Download CurriculumTeachers and students both play an active role in the learning process. The teacher facilitates comprehension of the material while constantly and actively measuring student learning. Students are engaged and involved during the entire class session where the teacher gauges their understanding through questions and discussions, and then the student demonstrates their mastery through independent practice.
Our program is designed to meet individual student needs by maintaining small classes, no more than 4 to a class. While the bulk of each session focuses on a specific concept or skill, time is allotted to address individual skill gaps and lessons are provided as necessary. This is to ensure no skill goes unaddressed as your student advances to the next grade level.
Technology plays a massive role in our program, as we are 100% online. Through integrating traditional teaching methods by using devices, applications, and the internet, students are able to connect with committed teachers and peers from around the country to engage in material and learn.
